The 3/4 inch ZW1070XL Aqua-Gard Thermostatic Mixing Valve is utilized in both residential and the majority of light commercial point-of-use installations to protect against potential scalding from hot water and bacteria growth such as legionella. The ZW1070XL valve has a rapid response rate that results in a final safer water temperature of 95 to 115F, and is most suitable for installation on fixtures, sinks, lavatories, or bathtubs. Often required by code, the ZW1070XL also provides lower energy costs.
